Fury 2007B wins Silver at U17B Provincials!
Congratulations to Fury 2007B for winning Silver in the U17B Provincials this past weekend in N. Delta!!
After their Gold medal showing at Canada Cup the previous weekend, the team continued that momentum and gritty play into the Provincial weekend.
The team had a challenging round robin draw, but played well and finished 3-1 finishing 5th place overall and advancing to the top 8 Gold pool playoffs. From there they won their next 2 games guaranteeing them a medal opportunity. In the top side semi the team lost to Outlaws 07, but won their next game vs. Pride 07 to advance to the Gold medal game vs. the Outlaws 07 team again. The team battled hard, but came up short in final to earn the Silver.
Congrats to the players and coaches of this first year U17B team on a very competitively played season, finishing if off with Gold at Canada Cup and Silver at Provincials!!

Big win to earn spot in the Gold medal game
Medal ceremony after 10pm under the lights. Lights went off before the last medals were handed out, but parents lit up the diamond with their phone lights to close it off, was like being at a concert.
After the final game team meeting filled with tears of happiness and proud moments.
