Welcome to Cloverdale Minor Softball!

Cloverdale Minor Softball Association is a non profit association under the society act of British Columbia. We are an all volunteer group dedicated to providing quality fastpitch to the youth of the Cloverdale area in Surrey, British Columbia. CMSA is the largest association for youth fastpitch in the city. With over 500 boys and girls participating in all age groups from Learn-to-Play to Junior Ladies, our softball association is a vibrant part of the community.

As a member association of Softball BC, CMSA emphasizes participation and fun. Our focus is on fair play and a positive approach to teaching the fundamental skills of the game. Our association motto says it all, "It's for the Kids!"

Our league games start at the beginning of April and go until the middle of June. All T-Ball games are played at Cloverdale Athletic Park.   MiniMite and higher divisions do interlock with other associations and away games are played at various parks (see Find the Parks page).  We try to schedule all home games at Cloverdale Athletic Park. However, if due to the number of teams, a lack of diamonds is created, some home games could be played at school diamonds in the Cloverdale area (see Find Other Parks).

CMSA supplies uniforms to all players. Depending on the division, players are provided a shirt (jersey), pants or shorts, a hat and a pair of socks. The hat and socks are kept by the player. Failure to return the rest of the uniform results in the player's deposit cheque being cashed.

Each team is provided with bats, balls, catcher's equipment and equipment bag. All players are required to supply their own batting helmets.
