Fury 04B wins Gold and are U19 Western Canadian Champions!!

Building on their Silver medal performance at Provincials, this first year U19B team earned a birth and was ready to compete at the Western Canadian Championships held in Richmond, BC this past weekend.

The team started strong against the top teams in Western Canada. Including 2 grueling wins in extra innings, which helped them secure 2nd place in the 6 game round robin portion of the tourney and qualify for the medal round. First up in the medal round was BC Provincial Champions Rage 03. After a very hard fought defensive battle, The team was able to prevail 4-2 and move on to the Gold Medal game.

Rage 03 was able to win their next game setting up a rematch for the finals. With a big game from all their players, and massive support from the stands, Fury 04 was able to quickly get out to a big lead and end the game early with a 11-1 victory. Congratulations to our Fury 04 who are now the Western Canadian U19 Champions!

A huge congrats to the players and coaches on finishing a competitive and successful season as Western Canadian Champions with their Gold medal performance!!
