Hello CMSA Families;

Registration for the 2022 season is now open and we look forward to seeing all of your children out at the park again this year!

We are switching to RAMP this year in order to easily mesh with the Softball BC registration process.  Good news for all of you is no more looking for your Softball BC number, the system will automatically link your registration in the background.  If you’re new to softball, a number will be assigned to you and the $10 fee will be added to your registration.

Here is the link to register for the 2022 season:

http://cloverdaleminorsb.rampregistrations.com/

If you’ve used RAMP before, please log in with the same user id you’ve used before.  Click on the Participant Registration button and follow along through the process.

Payment will be accepted through e-transfer, cash or cheque.  If you choose the cash or cheque option, please email Sue Dawkins (CMSA Registrar) at registrar@cloverdalesoftball.com to make arrangements for drop off.

The division breakdown this year is as follows:

U5/U6 – Learn to Play (2016/2017) plays Tuesdays and Thursdays

U7 – T-ball (2015) plays Tuesdays and Thursdays

U9 – Mini-Mite (2013/2014) plays Mondays and Wednesdays

U11 – Mite (2011/2012) plays Tuesdays and Thursdays

U13 – Squirt (2009/2010) plays Mondays and Wednesdays

U15 – Peewee (2007/2008) plays Tuesdays and Thursdays

U17 – Bantam (2005/2006) plays Mondays and Wednesdays

U19 – Midget (2003/2004) plays Tuesdays and Thursdays

Volunteer time is required by all families in the association and we have set this at 2 hours per child registered.  If you are a coach or manager of a team, this will cover the volunteer time for all the children you have playing.  Typical volunteer jobs include but are not limited to concession on week nights and tournament weekends, fields on tournament weekends and park clean up.  More details will follow in a month or so with online sign up.  If you are unable to fulfill your volunteer duties, we do have an opt out option for $100 fee which you can select as a package during registration.

We are always looking for coaches!  There is a question regarding this as part of your registration so please indicate if you are interested.  We already know we will need coaches in all age groups so please give this serious consideration, the kids can’t play without you and we don’t want to turn anyone away.  Even if you can’t commit 100% but are available part time we can pair you with someone else to ensure the team is always looked after.

The season will start the first week of April, you should start hearing from your coach around Spring Break.  The game days listed above are for our A and C division teams, B division teams will play on opposite days to those listed.  For our C division teams, U5-U7 will run until the end of May with the rest of the age groups playing into mid/end of June.  Practices will be determined by the coach once teams are formed.

If you have any questions, please contact Sue Dawkins (CMSA Registrar) at registrar@cloverdalesoftball.com.  And if you have any friends or family wanting to play softball please feel free this information along to them.

Thanks

Your CMSA Exec. team
