Fury 02B brings home silver at the Cat Wheatley Memorial tourney this past weekend in Richmond.

The team had a great tourney this past weekend going 3-1 in round robin play, placing 2nd out of 12 teams for the playoff round. From there they knocked off Van. Wildcats 03B in the quarter final round, then had a strong win against Islanders 04B in the semi-final, advancing them to the gold medal game vs. top seed Islanders 02B. It was a very closely contested game, but the Islanders ended up winning it in the bottom of the 7th inning.

Way to go and congrats players and coaches on a great tourney and playing 4 games back to back on Sunday in the very hot playing conditions and bringing home the silver hardware!
