COVID-19 Return to Play

With the announcement today from Dr. Henry on new restrictions in place, we are announcing the following changes to sanctioned softball activities effective Sunday, November 8th, 2020. These changes will remain in effect until further notice. For Cloverdale Minor Softball Association, and all of District 7, all sanctioning for softball activities is being moved back to Softball BC’s Inning One protocols found within Softball BC - Back to Bases Guidelines.

Additional information and guidance can be found here:

This restriction on sanctioned softball activities will be in effect for neighbouring associations as well, which fall within the Fraser Health and Vancouver Coastal Health regions.

Inning One protocols include:

- Physical distancing should be followed at all times during softball activities

- Minimize shared use of equipment, and when equipment must be shared, frequent sanitizing is required

- Practise and skill development only, no games or scrimmages

It is important that we continue to do our part to reduce the risk while enabling youth athletics and the social aspect of sport for the health and welfare of our members.  As we have been, please work with us by following the protocols in our CMSA Return to Play plan diligently.
