Make a Difference!

Cloverdale Minor Softball Association is constantly striving to the keep cost of registration to our players down. This is increasingly difficult with reduced public funding, increased expenses and more and more costs shifted from the city to user groups such as ours.

Our Corporate Sponsorship program is aimed to provide exposure to our sponsors and resources to our volunteers for the purchase of equipment, uniforms and repair and maintain our park facilities.

After World War I in Canada and elsewhere there was the Great War Verterans Association. A branch of the Canadian Legion came into being in Cloverdale as a result of a meeting called by Harry V. Coates on April 13, 1926.

In 2000 the Vancouver Grey Sox were formed as a Senior B team stocked with recent graduates from Junior fastpitch programs in British Columbia. In 2002 the Grey Sox moved up to the Open level.

The club's philosophy has always been to focus on providing BC players with an opportunity to play fastpitch at the elite level and to possibly play for the Canadian National Team.
 
 
Surrey Storm Rep Fastpitch Association
It is the intention of the Surrey Storm Softball Association Rep system to represent Softball BC District 7 and the City of Surrey at the highest level of softball available. In keeping with our primary and most important principle of always playing and demonstrating the utmost of honesty, integrity and fair play, Storm players will always strive to improve and develop as athletes and ballplayers. Annually through an open, fair, competitive and accountable tryout process, we will field the best possible team at each level. Most importantly by example, we will lead our players to be the best that they can be. We will be playing at a competitive level and finding ways and sharing ideas to win and be successful --- but, most importantly our philosophy of teamwork and unselfish co-operation with our fellow teammates will stand out.
 
 
Canada Cup International Women's Fastpitch Tournament
At the centre of it all, as always, will be many of the best in the world of women's fastpitch competing on the diamonds at Softball City for the coveted Canada Cup. Canada Cup fans have been treated throughout the years to exciting, intense championship competition that include spectacular “you had to see it to believe it” plays.
   
   
 
Simon Fraser University Softball Team
Since its inception in 1965, the Simon Fraser University Clan Athletics program has excelled in either the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) or Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS). With over 50 National Championships, countless individual champions, All-Americans, All-Canadians, Rhodes Scholars and Olympians, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, the SFU Clan brand is synonymous with building the consummate student-athlete.
 
 
Seaquam Softball Academy
This program accommodates female students in grades 8 - 12. The academy will provide a rigorous, relevant academic and comprehensive softball program designed to meet each child's personal needs. Outstanding teachers, excellent softball coaches, trainers and support staff will enable each student to excel academically, athletically and personally. The Academy offers athletes the opportunity to complete their softball training/theory, academic and elective requirements during school hours from 8:30 am to 2:45 pm. Athletes will have more free time after school to pursue other personal interests and needs.

A Weekend to Remember

Tournaments bring kids coaches and parents from all over the lower mainland, Vancouver Island and the Okanagon to Cloverdale Athletic Park.

The park is full to the brim with activity and your message could be made loud and clear. Sponsor the entire tournament and we'll be happy to put your company name on it. All promotional, forms, faxes and web site advertising will include your company or brand name. Add in - banners in the park and you could reach thousands of people with little investment.

Help make our tournament weekends something to remember.

Want to do something a little smaller, no problem. Sponsor the MVP awards, given at the end of each game. Donate a tent with your company name on it. Provide Prizes, Refreshments. It all helps and the kids will remember you.

Help Us with the Costs

Making a corporate donation to Cloverdale Softball helps in more ways than you can imagine. First, every donation no matter how small provides a child with an opportunity to play ball, enjoy the friendship of others and improve their self esteem.

Second, your donation could provide a team with better equipment. Bats, Bases, Balls and Catcher's gear. It's the heart that makes a player great, but give them a decent bat and watch them hit.

Lastly, with every dollar received CMSA can keep costs down. Keeping the costs down lets us continue to be one of the least expensive youth sports programs around. The less expensive, the more kids can play the game and we all benefit from that.
